2005 Royal Foals

Rein           Legacy              Phoenix                 Mac                        T Boy

We are very pleased to present the 2005 foals by King Wimpy Matador.  In four foaling seasons we've seen that King consistently puts his disposition, conformation, natural athletic ability, facial features, and full manes & tails on his foals.  His foals have all been very intelligent, easy to work with, and are just wonderful to be around.

If you see a mare you are interested in having a foal out of, please let us know. This page will be updated frequently as photos become available.  Most of the photos on this website are taken with the horses and foals in their natural state in the field.  This means they may be dirty in places, un-groomed and may not be standing square.  For the most part,  photos are taken unassisted by Kelly.

T has shed off to a beautiful Bay color.  He's a very smart, gorgeous and well built little man.  He is progressing well in ground training.  He leads like a pro and backs, side steps and gives his hip with just the point of a finger. He's very affectionate and picks up new lessons quickly.

RR KINGS MAC

2005 AQHA Dark Buckskin Colt.  Born 3/18/05am. He's a beautiful boy with star, tiny strip and small offset snip on left nostril and two rear socks.  He carries the smutty gene and had rich amber colored eyes until about 3 months old and are now brown with a hint of blue.  Performance plus and a genuine people lover.

King Wimpy Matador x Zetas Skippn Miracle

Mac has shed off to a dark buckskin.  The hair in his ears is light colored and his coat has a lot of cream in it particularly around his chest, underarms and rear.  Mac has a darker stripe down his back and displays the smutty gene on his neck and shoulders.  He has high black points on his legs like his sire. He's a wonderful kid with a tremendous personality and disposition.  He's doing extremely well with his ground lessons and leads like a champ, backs, side steps and gives his hip with the point of a finger.

I don't usually post photos of the foals in their "winter garb" since they normally have the appearance of big Shetland ponies and their white markings are usually muddy or dirty.  It's been too cold for a bath but we've been asked for updated photos. Mac has a LOT of cream and gold in his coat which is not visible far away. He still displays the smutty gene on his face, neck, withers and hips also.

Photos of Mac taken on 5/22/05.  He's beginning to shed. Mac is going to be a very interesting color.

This photo taken on 3/25/05.  This boy loves to move and will make performance horse deluxe.  Loves to cow and has natural reining ability.  Mac also has amber or "goat" eyes at this stage of the game.

Simply Miraculous (Mac) will be renamed by his new family.  Mac will be moving to Indiana with Mike & Sherry Rowland and will live with his half sister Comet (2003 page).  Congratulations Mike and hope your birthday present brings you lots of Joy!!!

Kings Kentucky Rein

2005 AQHA Bay Roan Filly.  Born 3/31/05am. She's a beautiful little princess with star and rear right coronet and rear left pastern.  Rein is very intelligent, and excellent student, beautifully conformed and has natural athletic ability.  She loves people, runs like the wind and cows everything in sight.

King Wimpy Matador x Panita Bar Pacific

Rein is a gorgeous bay and recently has begun to roan on her sides and flank.  Panita has a "roan" or gray rear pastern and white hairs in her coat but not what we'd think of as roan so this coloring is a bit of a surprise.

Rein just groomed May 6th, 2006

Above photos of Rein taken on 3/18/06.  She's in full wooly winter coat.  Her white socks can not be seen due to the mud winter has bestowed upon us.  It's too cold for a bath but she will get one as soon as the weather is warm enough.

Continental Phoenix

2005 AQHA Buckskin Colt- born 4/12/05. Has star, front pastern and rear socks.  Has distal (black) spots in the white areas.  He's a beautiful shade of buckskin and a very BIG boy.  Mom is 16.1 hands. Phoenix is a beautifully conformed colt with a classy personality and natural ability.  He honestly needs to be shown.  He's one that will stay in the ribbons.  This boy is "eat up with cow!".

King Wimpy Matador x Blizzard Rose

Phoenix has shed out to a Smutty darker buckskin and will closely resemble his daddy's coloring.  He's a stout, tall boy with tons of potential.

Phoenix also looks like a wooly bear in his winter suit.  Photo taken 3/18/06
