72-Hour Health Guarantee

As much as we would love to guarantee the health and safety of our puppies for life, we cannot guarantee the care of the puppy after leaving our home. Therefore, we can only offer a 72-hour guarantee. We guarantee the puppy will be free from all communicable diseases for a period of 72 hours from the date you take possession of your puppy. 

If the puppy displays any indication of sickness or poor health within the 72 hours, we must be contacted immediately. Failure to do so will cause this guarantee to become null and void. Additionally, this guarantee shall become null and void if any vaccinations are administered to the puppy within 3 days of purchase.  

Should your puppy become sick or die within 72 hours from the time he/she leaves our home, buyer MUST provide a written veterinary statement as to cause of illness or death to be examined by seller's veterinarian.  If any tests, x-rays or other medical procedures were performed, both Seller and sellers veterinarians must be permitted to review all information and test results prior to any claim resolution.  Should claim be justifiable by both veterinarians, the seller will provide a replacement puppy from same or future litter or refund purchase price of puppy.  Shipping and medical expenses are NOT refundable.   Seller is not responsible for any mishandling, neglect or accidents happening to the puppy after leaving their home or released to airline carrier.  After leaving sellers home, any and all health care and veterinarian expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer.  

Our puppies are examined by our veterinarian prior to leaving our care.  The vet examine reviews the pups visible physical health, and a fecal exam on at least one pup per litter.  We do not and can not test for every known canine medical condition to man so the buyer assumes a certain risk when adopting a pup.  If an issue is known to us and our veterianarian prior to the time a pup leaves our care, we will advise the adopting family and offer compensation.  Once compensation has been agreed upon and accepted, our liability ceases.  With the exception of the 72 hour guarantee against communicable diseases, once a pup is paid for in full and removed from our care, all of our liability ceases. 

 We do not guarantee our puppies for breeding or show purposes.   Over or under feeding, proper nutrition, housing, handling, training and veterinary care all influence your puppy's growth, disposition, general health and bone structure at maturity.  Because of this, we do not guarantee such after the puppy leaves our care.

Prior to departure from our facility, the puppy will receive a thorough check up and health certificate (if being shipped) from our veterinarian.  A vet examination will include a fecal test on at least one pup in each litter.  We STRONGLY recommend taking your puppy to your veterinarian to establish a vaccination and de-worming program.   You will be given a copy of your puppy's vaccination record and depending on the age of pup you purchase, booster or yearly shots will be needed.  Please consult your veterinarian to establish a regular vaccination and health care program.
