Airfare is the responsibility of the buyer. Puppies can be shipped at an additional cost of $300 (subject to increase or hopefully decrease).  Alternatively, arrangements may be made to pick your puppy up here.

Once you bring your new puppy home, you will need to continue with a vaccination & worming schedule prescribed by your veterinarian.

Our Deposit and Payment Policies 

New for 2010

1. Until Further Notice, Kentucky Puggles is holding our adoption price at $650 per pup.  If shipping is required, a $300 additional fee applies (*subject to change). Deposit is deducted from adoption price and balance (along with any shipping fee) is to be paid per schedule below.   No personal or cashiers checks accepted on final balance - no exceptions.

2. The "Reserved Litter List" and "Extended Waiting List" placement require a $100 deposit and will reserve a pup for you. Clients placing a deposit are noted on the website and receive our newsletters.   As Mother Nature can not be molded to our choosing, we can not guarantee how many pups or gender a litter will contain or the exact timing of each litter.  Kentucky Puggles guarantees to have a puppy of your gender choice for you within one year of deposit placement or deposit is fully refundable.  If a puppy is available during that year and the client elects not to accept adoption at that time, said client will be moved to the end of the reserved litter list or extended waiting list and deposit is no longer refundable.

3. Deposits can be made via PayPal (instant), personal check or money order.  Should you wish to use a credit card, you can do so through PayPal using our email address as the recipient.  If you have trouble using PayPal, we will be happy to send you an invoice through PayPal. We do not "HOLD" deposit positions and they are available on a first come first choice basis.   Please note that while some transactions may take several days to process completely through PayPal's system, your deposit to hold a pup is counted the day you place it, not the day it is cleared. 

4. Should you not be ready to accept a pup, Kentucky Puggles must be notified prior to adoption confirmation after the birth of a litter.  If a client cancels an adoption after they have confirmed reservation of puppy (after birth) any and all monies paid to Kentucky Puggles are forfeited.  If said client needs to wait to adopt a pup, they will be placed at the bottom of the reserved litter list and Kentucky Puggles will hold all funds until a pup becomes available.  If client still does not accept a pup the second time, all funds are forfeited.

5. Beginning in 2010, each family will confirm their commitment to adopt a pup by making installments on the adoption fee after the birth of the pups.  The $550 adoption balance (less $100 deposit) will now become payable  in 3 installments at 2 weeks ($183), 4 weeks ($183) and final payment ($184 plus any shipping & PayPal expenses) at 6 weeks of age.  If puppy is being picked up, final installment can be made in person with cash or money order ONLY.  Final installment must be made in certified funds before puppy will be released. 

6. If PayPal is used for installments, a one time $25 fee will be added to balance to cover expenses incurred to Kentucky Puggles by PayPal.  If adoption price is paid in full at 2 weeks of age, the PayPal fee will be waived. 

7. If any puppy becomes sick, injured or dies before being picked up or shipped home, all monies can be refunded or used towards a future puppy.

8. Please note -  We are not responsible for allergies, lifestyle changes, lease agreements, client health issues, adoption of other dogs/pets, etc. and will ONLY honor refunds as noted above. Specific gender choices must be noted on contract for any refund considerations within a year of deposit placement.
