Skippers Golden Baby (Golden) was born on the farm in 2001 out of Bugs Alive Baby and Skippa Sweet Star.  Golden is a beautiful stocky palomino AQHA filly.  She stands 15.1 and weighs in at 1100 pounds. Golden's dam resides on the farm and you can view Bugsy's page for further information. Her sire, Skippa has over 200 PHBA points in 8 different events, AQHA ROM's and points in halter and performance and WFQHA halter champion. Golden is also a half sister to Miracle and Peppy.

 She has been in saddle training and is coming along beautifully.  She has a wonderful gait and learns very quickly.  Golden was to remain unbred until shown, but we decided to breed her to King in 2005 for an early January 2006 foal.  Golden produced an absolutely gorgeous dark buckskin filly named Kings Skippin Jewel on January 22, 2006.  Jewel is a quick study and loves people.  See more of Jewel on the 2006 foals page.  Golden was not bred back in 2006 or 2007.  We took a break in 2006 and Neil returned to college in 2007.  Golden is on a breeding lease at Windy Knoll Farm in Blue Ridge, Virginia until 2010.
