Panita Bar Pacific was at Neil 'N' K on a breeding lease for 2004 - 2005 season and returned home in November 2005. She is a 1998 bay AQHA 15.1 hand foundation mare with a star on her forehead. Foundation percentage to be posted soon. She was born and has been raised in Kentucky. Panita is an assertive mare in the field and her coming foal should inherit her standing in the herd. She has had 90 days under saddle and is a pleasure to be with.  She probably needs a refresher course prior to hitting the trails since she has not been ridden while she's been here.  She's easy to get attached to.  Panita has excellent conformation and disposition.   Her first foal arrived spring 2005, Kings Kentucky Rein by King Wimpy Matador.  Rein is a beautiful bay filly and is pictured on the 2005 foals page.  She has inherited her parents good looks, conformation and has a wonderful people loving disposition.  Rein loves to cow and is extremely intelligent and easy to work with.  She's a real beauty.  Panita has been an excellent mother. 

When Rein shed her baby coat, we began to notice several white hairs in her coat.  She is now at weaning age and those few hairs have since become a sprinkling of roan over her sides and flanks.  We don't know if she'll continue to roan or not.  Panita has a few white hairs in her coat and a gray or roan looking left pastern.  Now that we've seen Rein's coat, we're leaning more to calling Panita a mahogany bay roan.  She is registered as bay though.  Panita is bred to King Wimpy Matador for a March 2006 foal.  Panita is owned by Natalie Smith of Missouri.  Congratulations Natalie!
