Ima Peppy Baby was born on the farm in 2002 and is one of our junior mares. Peppy stands 15.1 hands tall and weighs in around 1100 pounds. She is a fading black AQHA mare. It is difficult to get pictures of black horses that show their muscle and color - even in direct daylight. She's a stocky girl with a beautiful offset strip and snip on her face and a tiny spot of white above her rear left coronet band which is a stamp of her sire. Peppy is the product of a terrific blending of Bugs Alive Baby and 1992 Black AQHA stallion, Midnight Mission San. Mission has a ROM in reining and both halter and performance points with AQHA. Bugs Alive Baby resides on the farm and produces top notch foals. Please see Bugsy's page for more information about her. Peppy has inherited both of her parents athletic ability, temperament and conformation. There is nothing she won't be able to do. Peppy was imprinted at birth and has excelled in her ground work. She has not yet been started under saddle due to lack of time to train our girls. We are extremely excited about her future and breeding potential with King. We are hopeful to raise a junior stallion out of a Peppy and King cross. We are not sure at this time when Peppy will be bred. Stay tuned for more about Peppy. Unfortunately we will not be the first to experience a bundle of joy from Peppy. Neil returned to college in 2007 and we felt the need to cut back on our program until he finishes in 2009. Peppy and 3 of our other girls are on a breeding lease with Windy Knoll Farm in Virginia until 2010. We are excited for Peppy's future and look forward to seeing our little grand babies. Peppy, Golden, Miracle and Jess will return home in 2010. To View the next few years in Peppy's life, please click on the link below to visit her at Windy Knoll Farm.
