In Loving Remembrance of My DEUCE”

To Gram’s Precious Little Boy,

      These things I’d like to say, but first of all to let you know, I miss you so each day.

      I try not to be unhappy, just because you’re out of sight, because I remember, you are with me, every morning, noon and night.

     I miss you when the sun comes up, when the ground is wet with dew,

     I miss you when the dark appears, and when the stars shine through the blue,

     I miss the times we shared together, so sweet and yet so few,

     But more than all these things in life, my Deuce, Gram misses YOU!!!

     That day you had to leave me when your life on Earth was through, God picked you up and hugged you and said, “Deuce, I welcome you.”

     As I think of your time with me, and how you brought me cheer, Because I’m only human, it’s bound to bring some tears.

     I’m not afraid to cry, I’ve found it relieves my pain

‘coz I remember there’d be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

     And as I’m walking to the barn and I’ve got you on my mind, I know you’re walking with me, only half a step behind.

    Please know you are Sadly and Lovingly missed by all who were blessed to know you. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!
