In 2007 Neil
returned to college and we felt we needed to reduce our
herd to a more manageable size. Two of our horses
now have new homes and four of our girls are on a
breeding lease until 2010. We are offering for
sale two of our colts by King out of Bugs Alive Baby -
Kings Continental Mac and King To A T.
Should you have any questions, please
feel free to email or call.
This Page is a Work in
Progress...... please bear with me.
Please keep in mind that most of the photos shown below
were taken as the horses were naturally standing in the
field. They may not be standing square. If
you'd like to see conformation type show photos, let me
know and we'll do our best to provide those for
you.

Kings
Continentl Mac (Petey)
2006 AQHA Buttermilk Buckskin Colt
King Wimpy Matador x Bugs Alive Baby |
|

|
| Foaled 3/14/06 -
Photo above taken 7/08/07 after his bath. Beautiful
Buttermilk Buckskin colt. Imprinted at birth and handled
daily. He has a star on his forehead and rear pastern
& sock like daddy. Lots of frosting in his
THICK mane and tail. He also displays some of the smutty gene on hips,
neck
and withers. Perfectly straight long
legs. He is a gorgeous colt even in his winter
clothing above. He has correct
conformation, an awesome disposition, tons
athletic ability, lots of cow instinct and is
extremely smart and people oriented. He closely resembles his full older sister,
Comet who is winning in the show ring in 5
different events. If Petey is not sold,
he will become our junior stallion. Awesome
show prospect or future stud material.
Keep watch for updated photos on our 2006 foals
page. Additional photos and video available upon
request. We have not yet registered
Petey in case he was sold. We thought
perhaps his new owners would like to name him
- especially if kept a stallion. Why the
nickname Petey? When he was a baby he
LOVED to run and we said he was a
pistol. So Pistol Pete or Petey is what
we've called him.

Kings Majestic
Best (Jess)
2003 AQHA Bay Mare
King Wimpy Matador x Gazetas Best
|
|
|
Foaled - April
3, 2003 12:30am (Photos taken August
2006)
She has two rear stockings, as well as a star, strip & snip
on her face.
Foundation percentage - WFQHA (at 93.22%) and NFQHA (at approx
89%) Eligible for
KQHBA futurity for life.
We delayed her registration
until 2004 because of the confusion with her color. We thought
perhaps she'd be a buckskin when she shed the first time but was a
very unique looking bay. Her legs, chest and butt were buckskin colored but her body, neck, hips and head are
bay (red). Her coloring has since become more
uniform. She
displays the "mealy" coloring on her muzzle and around
her eyes. Jess leads, clips, loads, has fun with her
bath, stands for farrier, has a terrific
mind, learns extremely quickly. She excels at her round
pen and ground work. Jess has a very calm yet confident
disposition. She is NOT nervous or easily spooked. New
aspects of training are approached with fun and confidence. She will be
terrific under saddle when it's time. She has a lovely
gait. Jess displays natural reining, cow, speed and trail
ability. She'll make a perfect versatile horse for you.
In 2005 we discovered that
Jess displays the Sabino gene given to her by her dam,
Zeta. We had NO idea where her stockings came from but two
years later, the mystery is solved. Jess may pass down
this gene to her foals also.

Price - Jess
will be on a breeding lease at Windy Knoll
Farm, Virginia until 2010 and then will return
home to Kentucky.

of T taken 6/16/07

Foaled
- March 9, 2005 (picture taken 06/16/07)
He has a star on his forehead, rear socks and disconnected
offset strip & snip. T is a very smart, agile
guy. He loves people and will make a wonderful show
prospect for you. He is also bred for speed and
performance and will be your next versatile show or pleasure
horse. Both sire and dam have champions in their pedigrees
and King has earned show points in conformation and reining with
the WFQHA. T's 3 year old full sister Comet, is
already winning in the show ring and he will too. See his
full sisters on the 2002-2004
foals page and Bugsy
on her page. We have not yet registered
T because we thought his future owner may want
to choose his name. He was was gelded in
spring 2007. For updated photos of T, please see the 2005
foals page. Additional photos and email video available
upon request.

Ima
Peppy Baby
2002 Black AQHA Mare
Bugs Alive Baby x Midnight Mission San |
|

|
| Foaled
3/18/02 - Has strip & snip extending onto
upper lip.
Peppy was born and
raised on our farm. She is out of Bugs
Alive Baby by Midnight Mission San, AQHA Black
stallion. Bugsy was a trained barrel
racer prior to living with us but was never
shown. Mission has a ROM in reining
and our hopes were to combine the speed and
performance of both sides of her pedigree for a versatile
performance show mare. Peppy had some
ground work but time slipped away from us and
she's not been under saddle yet. She has
tons of cow instinct and loves to go after
anything that moves. She regularly cows
the dogs and any real cows that will allow her
to play with them. We
wanted to show Peppy and then breed her to
King for a stunning junior stallion. To
date we have not bred Peppy. She is one
classy girl with tons of potential to
explore. She's priced below her
value. You can see Peppy from the Mares
page above or clicking here.
Don't forget to
check out Peppy's mom and all her half
brothers and sisters.

Kings
Skippin Jewel
2006 Bay AQHA Filly
King Wimpy Matador x Skippers Golden Baby |
|

Jewel
broke her neck summer of 2006 after trying to
jump a fence. She is healed but her
condition remains "guarded" until
the age of 2 or so. Although she looks
and acts like a normal healthy beautiful
filly, there is a chance that as she matures,
the area of the break could compress her
spinal cord causing paralysis. She is
now 18 months old and we have not seen any
changes in her motion. She will only go
to a home with someone experienced with horses
who understands that she can't be pulled or
tugged. She's been raised with a soft
hand and that must continue. I fully
believe she will become an awesome
saddle/performance horse and broodmare.
AI may be considered to protect her neck from
any harm though. We have not yet
registered her but you'll receive her papers.
